I'm sitting here contemplating what happened at Virgina Polytechnic University. I'm saddened by the fact that one single coward of an individual can cause such grief and mourning because he was "angry at rich kids". What is wrong with people that they cannot cope with their own anger towards their own situations or others and thus have to lash out against innocent people, people that most likely had NOTHING to do with his sorry life. What was his problem? What was his pain? I do not care nor would it matter what pain he suffered because it cannot be more than the pain that these families are going through by the loss of their loved ones.
Yes I call him a coward because that is what he was. You coward, cannot even stay around and take the punishment for your crimes. You coward, do not have the guts to try and make it to the next day, no you gave up... you had no courage to face what was difficult. You coward, had a sick, perverted and depraved mind... it showed in your thoughts and your words. You coward, did not have the courage to tell those that you felt were doing wrong to do right. You coward, needed a friend although you probably killed those that have tried to befriend you. You coward, do not deserve to die, you deserve to live and think about your acts of selfish rage..you coward, deserve to be locked up in a dark room and while you sleep you are haunted by the faces of those whose lives you have taken, lives that deserve so much more than you ever did...lives that so unfairly ended...lives of people who would have contributed way more than you ever could. You coward, deserve to feel a hundred times the pain that you have caused. I don't agree with suicide, but perhaps this would be the lesser of two evils and you would have ended your pain and suffering quietly and the world would still be normal for those that you have selfishly taken away, normal for those who lost loved ones. Are you happy now? What did you achieve? You coward, unfortunately will not experience this pain...they the courageous ones, unfortunately will.
The Courageous resisted your march, the courageous put others before themselves, the courageous gave their lives for others, the courageous are those that survived. The courageous will rise up and overcome, they despite of great loss will continue on with their lives living day to day. Know that you have not defeated them, you have only made them stumble, but in the end they will always be more than you ever were for unlike you they are not cowards.
I'm sorry if this has offended anyone, I'm just venting my feelings and hope that those families that have lost loved ones will someday find peace and some form of happiness and joy inspite of their loss. My prayers go out to those families now, may each person that reads this entry say a prayer for those families as well.
